We conduct observations to build the context of school instructional support needs, and offer peer-centered support for teachers. Baseline walk-throughs are intended to help administrators and teachers learn more about instructional practices and to identify what training and support teachers need. 

What You Will Learn

We provide peer-centered support options for teacher development.  Teachers are paired in consultation with administrators, teachers and BFC team consultants to disseminate effective practices throughout an experienced staff and to support novice teachers to improve instructional practices and absorb the shared culture within a school. We develop and support schools as they conduct instructional rounds to enhance teachers’ pedagogical skills and develop a culture of collaboration.  The BFC team will support the teacher-led debrief sessions to compare instructional practices with the observed teachers.
